Commercial 95 Standard Shade Sails provide excellent protection from the sun and its harmful UV rays. They come in a variety of standard shapes, sizes, and colors which meet the needs of most home and business owners. Available shapes include squares, rectangles, equilateral triangles, and right angle triangles.

Commercial 95 fabric by Synthesis is breathable and helps to keep you cool and comfortable even in hot weather. This state-of-the-art fabric is resistant to moisture and extreme temperatures, and it provides you with a UV protection factor of up to 98 percent. Additionally, because the Commercial 95 fabric is knitted, not woven, it won't tear or fray. Commercial 95 fabric is covered by a limited 10 year warranty.

Residential Sails come with 1-1/2 inch UV inhibitive reinforcement webbing, which is standard for normal residential use in sails up to about 325 square feet. 1-1/2 inch webbing is rated with an 800 pound break strength. Each corner has a welded, solid, marine grade, stainless steel attachment ring to aid in attaching the shade sail to a structurally sound fixing point. When installed properly, shade sails do not sag or flap in the wind. Commercial 95 fabric is not waterproof.

All shade sails are designed with a reduction of approximately 10 percent of your attachment point measurements (see example on right). This is done to allow enough space for the mounting hardware and to tension the sail. All final measurements will be approximate due to tolerances during the fabricating process.

Note: Due to the available Commercial 95 fabric widths, and depending on the size ordered, your shade sail may have seams.
