Celebrate the RV’s 100th Anniversary With an RV Adventure

The year 2010 marks the 100th anniversary of the Recreational Vehicle, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by taking your RV out on the road. 

Go for a weekend or go for a month — it doesn’t matter because your RV is always ready for an adventure.  Do you know, though, what the average number of days per year an RV is actually out on the road?  

Only 26, according to a 2005 University of Michigan study commissioned by the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).

So what happens to the RV on those remaining 339 days?

Will today’s version of the RV be around when Recreational Vehicles celebrate their bicentennial in 2110?
